What triggers weightloss?

I’m sure there’s many triggers – all of us are going through different periods of life. And we have to remember that none of us is in control.

But some things are just the way they are.

So, the question we’re left with is, does it make any more sense to eat less right now?

The “Biggest Loser” show has done an episode just on this very subject. And while you may or may not want to watch it, you may benefit from watching it – just to see a person actually lose weight.

According to a report in the New York Times, many people with severe obesity have a natural tendency to gorge on calories. That, in turn, makes them overweight.

The article continues,

“On a diet, their fat cells swell and clog their arteries, allowing them to hold on to their weight even after they lose body fat. But if a program to eat leaner has failed, the same obesity may return with a vengeance, leading to weight regain that may last years.”

So, don’t worry. I’ve got a solution.

The solution: “Eat a lot of protein.”

How?

Well, if you want to eat more protein during your weight loss experience, you have to eat a whole lot – in one sitting.

And just like eating a good protein shake, you can take one protein shake a day and eat it with a meal – so, eat one protein shake on your lunch break, eat one protein shake on your weekend meal with some fruit.

Then, eat another protein shake on your dinner meal with lots of veggies.

And don’t stop at once. Eating more protein is much more effective than eating less.

Plus, we’re in the middle of a protein-starvation-age that will likely not end any time soon.

I can’t blame you if you want to eat less. That way, you can eat less carbs and less protein.

At the same time, just remember that just because your body wants to “eat” more, it doesn’t have to.

And as soon as you’re done eating, you’re done eating. When we eat more, we get more nutrition. And when we eat less, we lose more weight.

And that’s just the way it is.”
