The body does not naturally need many calories at once – if there is too much food, you may see a weight advantage.
Type 2: This diet is based on the high calorie, very low fat principle. In this type of diet you eat a larger proportion of your calories at each meal, but you are doing so very slowly and gradually, with lots of high quality foods such as meat, fish and high fiber foods.
As you eat, your levels of the hormone cortisol increase, and as a result your body makes up the calories in new foods you eat, so you will lose more weight.
Type 3: This diet is a low fat diet with high protein and low saturated fat content (about 50% less in calories than type 2).
