In general, it takes about 10 minutes per day to get your first violin up and running. So if you spend 10 minutes per day, you should spend 1,080,000 yen (3,000 USD) on your first violin.
But that was just the beginning…
It doesn’t end here!
Every one of the lessons will give you a new violin with everything you need to improve your skill. Just like in the “Vocal Skills” lesson, every one of them covers a topic you didn’t know about, and will help you improve your playing skills by listening to your playing and the music itself.
I would advise you to not pick your course based on the price you pay – you should look at the information, listen to the instruction, watch the videos – and then make a decision on the level that’s most suitable for your needs. If you want to learn how to play your first violin, you will definitely need a little bit of training. However, most beginners would be much better off with the “Into It” course for less than 10,000 yen (USD), and the “Into It” Intermediate or Expert lessons than with the “Into It” Master course for 1,000,000 yen (3,000 USD) or the “Into It” Senior or Expert lessons.
My current price range is on the Expert level course and “Into It” course – I personally prefer “Into It” at the Expert level course, and “Into It” Intermediate course is a great starter for beginners looking for an intermediate level course. If you get the Senior course for 1,000,000 yen (3,000 USD), you’ll definitely want to check out the Expert course if your budget allows it.
But seriously – if you can afford it, check out the “Into It” Professional or Expert lessons, in between you’ll probably want to check out the “Into It” Master courses (or a combination of the expert level courses) – they’ll have a great deal of lessons that will be helpful to improve your playing and overall skills.
For a beginner player (at any level), this is all a lot of work and you can’t predict what will happen in a month and a half.
So when should I start my first violin?
The answer is easy. When I’m ready and you’re ready because the next week-end is the day after you play in front of
