What is water energy called? – Helmholtz Free Energy Equation Aleks Math

See the main article on this topic: Quantum information

Water energy is generally thought of as a non-finite substance with energy depending on temperature. It is thought, that light and energy in water are equivalent in definition.

Some physicists (and, in particular David Deutsch, a German mathematician) also think that the definition of water energy is actually different than is commonly thought. The definition that is typically used is that water is one of many substances which can give off energy or light via electromagnetic radiation. One has to think about this in a more complicated way, for now. But one can only be certain that you are talking about electromagnetic radiation when you speak about the non-finite nature of water.

Physicist David Deutsch believes that in reality, atoms in water are actually composed of photons which are made to vibrate. In fact, the very properties of water itself are dictated by vibrations, and the water itself behaves like a giant quantum computer!

But that’s pretty beyond the scope of this discussion. The main point to take away from this is that water is a substance and not a particle (well, not yet), and it behaves differently from any other substance.

Examples [ edit ]

Water is not a gas. It is not a liquid. It does not vibrate. It is not a molecule. Therefore, water does not have the same name as the other four elements.

Water is not a substance. It is not a particle. Therefore, water does not have the same name as the other four elements.

Water is inanimate. It does not have a physical properties. Therefore, it has no physical attributes. Water is not a substance.

What about water ice? Not only does it have no physical attributes, water ice also does not have energy. The amount of energy in water ice is equal to that in air! This is the exact way quantum physics work: water ice has no energy, it does not change the state of matter, it does not vibrate like a rock in the presence of an electric field. But its behavior does not follow the classical definition of energy.

What about water vapor? Water vapor is a solid and it has energy. But it also doesn’t vibrate at the same frequency as air nor does it change the state of matter. So water vapor is not a substance, it is not a particle, it does not have any physical properties, and it has no electromagnetic properties.
