Does Belly Dancing strengthen your core? – Professional Belly Dancers

Or are you looking for a good fitness exercise that you enjoy doing? In this article, we shall learn how it works:

When the world is about to be burned, the first thing you can do is buy a couple of fire extinguishers at Walmart.

But before you take matters into your own hands, read this: You CAN be burned.

According to a new study, the average person would need to use at least 1,200 times more fire extinguishers than the average person used this year to be burned on 9/11.

That’s a staggering number: According to the study, which analyzed data from 2004-2013 and has yet to be published in a scientific journal, people in the U.S. lost an estimated 4,724 lives to fires on that day. Nearly half of the people who were burned died from smoke inhalation, many of them in hospitals.

The study was conducted by Princeton University psychologist Nicholas Christakis, and also looked at data from 2003-2005 for more recent years. It found that the average “burn” would require 2,900 extinguishers to kill the same person.

The study found that the most common type of burn victims in the U.S. on 9/11 were people who were sitting in office towers, often without life jackets. On average, fire departments used 1,700 fire extinguishers during the study period. And on average, firefighters would use another 1,800 and that wouldn’t be enough to actually extinguish many fires. In the end, the average fire victim would have to fire 2,100 times.

The article also pointed to some other statistics from the new study, including that a U.S. fire fighter lost an eye and suffered 20 broken bones when she was burned by an FDNY fire truck on 9/11.

“The sheer volume of fires is staggering, and the number of lives lost is staggering,” Christakis said Monday in a statement. “There is a huge need for research on how we can prevent these tragedies – not just in this country, but across the world. We urgently need additional research to determine why those fires happen.”

The University of New Hampshire researchers are now working to create a new study that would look at those fatalities
